Both parties charged in Forest Ave domestic case

************************* At approximately 10 p.m. last night, City Police were called to attend on Forest Avenue regarding a domestic dispute.

Investigating officers located both involved parties and subsequently arrested and charged both persons.

It is alleged that the 24-year-old male assaulted his ex-girlfriend by punching her.

It is further alleged that the accused breached conditions of his probation communicating with the female victim, by interfering with her and by failing to keep the peace.

The accused was also on a peace bond release.

The male accused is charged with one count of assault, two counts of breach of a peace bond and three counts of breach of probation.

It is alleged that the 23-year-old female assaulted her ex-boyfriend by striking him on the head with a beer bottle.

The accused is charged with one count of assault with a weapon.

The male victim suffered minor cuts to the head but did not require medical treatment.

************************* Early this morning, City Police were called to a West End residence regarding a mischief complainant.

As a result of their investigation, officers arrested a 15-year-old male and charged him with one count of mischief and two counts of breach of a recognizance.

It is alleged that the youth damaged furnishings in the residence and was also intoxicated.

The accused was on a recognizance release order to abstain from consuming alcohol.
