CITY OF SAULT STE. MARIE

************************* Book of condolences for Polish president and dignitaries

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - Polish President Lech Kaczynski and several high-ranking officials died in a plane crash in Smolensk, Russia on Saturday, April 10, 2010.

A book of condolences is available at the reception desk in the lobby of the Civic Centre between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. until this Friday, April 16 to allow individuals to write messages to the families affected by this tragedy.

The books will be sent to Poland on behalf of the local M. Kopernik Polish Canadian Society and the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie.
