The Sault Ste. Marie Cricket Club will be presenting an evening of food and live entertainment at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Saturday during its Bollywood Night fundraiser.
Cricket club chair Neeta Marwah says that proceeds from the event will go toward the construction of a pitch, which is a cricket playing surface.
The cricket club - established in 2013 - boasts roughly 35 to 40 members, with games being played at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
Saturday’s night fundraiser includes an Indian dinner, courtesy of Rasoi The Indian Kitchen, with entertainment provided by Sunny. V Rockstar and Troupe.
Tickets can be purchased at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre, Rasoi The Indian Kitchen and the Sault Community Theatre Centre Box Office.
