The African Caribbean Canadian Association of Northern Ontario (ACCANO) in partnership with Bon Soo and Great Lakes Honda would like to extend our warm invitation to you to join us in this year’s Annual Black History Month Celebration and Dinner.

ACCANO was established in 2011 as a not for profit, non-political, and non-denominational association that seeks to promote and grow awareness of our cultural heritage, while promoting unity within the community.

Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians as well as share the history and culture of Black Canadians.

The celebration dinner will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Grand Gardens North, on 1324 Great Northern Rd. The event will feature a colourful multicultural dinner party menu, live music, dance, art exhibits, fashion show, door prizes, and a cash bar among other exciting dinner activities.

The theme for this year’s celebration is: “Building Bridges Together” which will be the focus of the keynote speech and other activities of the night. This year’s dinner will also feature the presentation of ACCANO Awards and 2018 Great Lakes Honda Community Driven Awards.
