************************** Ontario Council of Hospital Unions comes to town - Richards Landing

Noon-hour rally Monday, April 6 in front of Matthews Memorial Hospital

SAULT STE. MARIE - (April 3) - Monday, April 6 will be a big day for the residents in Richards Landing.

Members from the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) hospital workers from locals from across Northern Ontario are meeting in Richards Landing to show support for keeping the Matthews Memorial Hospital open.

Heading the meeting will be Michael Hurley, president of the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions.

There will be a rally at noon sharp on Monday about stopping the closure of Matthews Memorial Hospital.

All members of the public are invited to join in to show their support for keeping the hospital open.
