************************* City Police [allegedly] arrested two males yesterday after they [allegedly] broke into a residence in the downtown area.

It's believed that 28-year-old Bertie Mattinas of 321 George Street and 19-year-old Flint Mattinas of 864 Queen Street East entered a residence shortly after 2 p.m. by smashing a patio door then entering and taking a television.

The two males were arrested just after 4 p.m. at the Station Mall after mall security called advising there was an intoxicated male to be removed.

Shortly after police arrived it was determined that the males were responsible for the break and enter.

Both males were charged with one count each of break and enter, and one count each of possession of stolen property.

Both males are to appear in court on January 8.
