NEWS RELEASE

************************* The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received four reports of mischief yesterday.

- A Beer Store truck was damaged in the parking lot of 250 Bruce St.

- A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Queen Street East was damaged last night during the hockey game.

- A window at a residence in the 300 block of First Avenue was broken yesterday morning.

- Unknown persons damaged the washers and dryers and then stole the coin from the machines in the laundry room at 819 Trunk Road.

Thieves also broke a vehicle window and then stole a purse from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of bay St.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to remind the public to help reduce the number of daytime break and enters.

Report any suspicious persons wandering your neighbourhood.
