Bear cubs sighted - Allen's Sideroad (4:19 p.m. update)

I just saw two bear cubs having a great time on Allen's Side Road north of Second Line across from the church.

Please let the readers beware.

I didn't see the mother but my kids saw another bigger bear two nights ago on Third Line West between Goulais Avenue and Allen Side Road.

******************** Hey Dave: Thought I might as well tell you about the cub I saw last nite.

We were packing up our boat at the end of Carpin Beach when a small bear (probably a cub from last year) walked right by us about 150 feet from the boat launch.

The week before I saw a huge bear on my street Parkewood at 5 a.m. on my way to work.

Thought I'd share the info with you and those in the area.

Seems like the news today is about the bears.

Just wanted to let you know that my parents have had a bear in their backyard a couple of times in the last week or so.

They live on Frontenac Street close to city limits.
