************************* BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP are investigating break and enters into three businesses on the Batchewana First Nation over the weekend.

Sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning thieves forced their way into three businesses located on Gran Street.

Windows and doors were smashed and forced open.

Officers found that the thieves ransacked and damaged the interior of the businesses causing extensive damage.

At this time the business owners are finding small amounts of cash missing from the offices.

************************* FENWICK TWP, ON - Sault Ste. Marie OPP are also investigating break and enters into two seasonal homes in the community commonly referred to as Red Rock.

The owner of a home in the 800 area of Lakeshore Road, off Maki Road west of Sault Ste. Marie, attended his camp to find that criminals had entered the house.

A door was forced open on the camp and the interior searched.

A small amount of liquor was taken.

Police were checking other camps in the area and found a neighbouring camp had also been entered.

It appears that liquor products were also the subject of that search.
