************************* Home robbery investigation

Investigation Services are currently investigating a robbery that took place overnight at a downtown residence.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. this morning residents of a downtown home called police and reported that two males wearing bandanas and carrying bats forced their way inside and demanded cash and drugs.

Two of the residents that were inside at the time were threatened, but were not injured.

The two males fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and a cordless phone.

The males were described as:

- First male was white, approximately 5’7", medium build, with blue eyes, wearing blue jeans, a ball cap and a bandana across his face

- Second male had darker skin, wearing eye glasses and all-black clothing.

Officers checked the area with negative results.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
