City police report one person injured and severe damage to two vehicles after an accident yesterday at the intersection of Queen and Brock. The accident occurred around 10:51 a.m. One driver was sent to hospital with minor injuries.

City police report one person injured and severe damage to two vehicles after an accident yesterday at the intersection of Queen and Brock.

The accident occurred around 10:51 a.m.

One driver was sent to hospital with minor injuries.

51-year-old Beverly Snider of Echo Bay was charged with failing to stop for a red light after she allegedly travelled north on Brock Street through the light, hitting a westbound vehicle on Queen Street driven by 44-year-old Ian Burns of Dafter, Michigan.

Burns was taken by ambulance to hospital for what were reported to be minor injuries.
