************************* ATV crash sends one to hospital

SEARCHMONT, ON. - Emergency crews were called to Whitman Dam Road early this morning for a crash involving an ATV.

This morning at about 12:30 a.m. police, fire and ambulance were called to Whitman Dam Road near the gravel pit for a crash involving a Searchmont man riding an ATV.

The man was transported to Sault Area Hospital with what police suspect is a broken leg.

Police were unable to talk to the man because of the treatment he was receiving for his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are expected.

The driver of the ATV is a 67-year-old Searchmont man.
