It has been decades since the Ontario Sault bid farewell to the Kmart on this side of the river.
Now, it looks like Michigan Saultites will be forced to do the same.
Business Insider reports that Sault, Michigan will be among seven centres in Michigan and 64 communities across the U.S. where Sears Holdings (which owns Kmart) has decided to shut down stores.
They'll be shuttered by mid-December.
The report says the liquidation sales start Thursday.
