At 4:30 a.m., someone broke into the Attendance Centre

NEWS RELEASE

********************* City Police received a number of reports of break and enters yesterday.

1) Around 4:30 a.m. this morning thieves broke into the Attendance Centre located on Queen Street East. Nothing was taken.

2) Yesterday afternoon a homeowner in the 300 block of Korah Road reported that their home had been entered sometime between 12 noon and 3 p.m. Jewellery and some old coins were taken.

3) A garage in the 1200 block of Leigh's Bay Road was entered overnight between the 12th and 13th of July. Thieves stole a compressor and air nailers.

4) A residence on Terry Fox Place was entered last evening sometime between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Items taken include a number of DVDs - both movies and music, as well as a small undisclosed amount of money.

5) A residence in the 100 block of Cambridge Place was entered yesterday between 3 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. this morning. Thieves made off with a DVD player and sound system with speakers.
