SooToday.com reader Door snapped this dramatic photo today of police arresting 20-year-old Andrew McDonald of 18 Baltimore Road in Barrie, Ontario, after a serious domestic situation at 181 Spadina Avenue in Sault Ste. Marie.

Police, some packing assault rifles, also arrested Anthony McDonald, 26, of 51 Parkwood Village in Toronto, after he emerged from the same address.

Both men are charged with forcible confinement and threatening death.

Anthony McDonald is facing an additional charge of common assault, while Andrew McDonald is charged with mischief alleged to have occurred inside the house. Police were called to the Bayview neighbourhood a little after 10 a.m. today, but they believe the Spadina Avenue argument took place through most of last night.

Our reader Door says that after police surrounded the house "the upper front windows opened and the [suspects]exchanged words with the police officers, which included 'we're coming out.' Shortly thereafter, one at a time, two young men came out without incident and were taken into custody. Police officers went into the residence, but came out shortly empty-handed."
