************************** Investigation Services lays charges in connection to suspicious fire at Korah Collegiate

A 15-year-old male youth and a 15-year-old female were both arrested at Korah Collegiate on the 9th of September at 10:50 a.m. and charged each with one count of arson in relation to the fire that occurred on the 8th of September at 10:01 am.

It is alleged that the two accused, both students of the school, set fire to a locker on the basement floor.

Football equipment inside the locker was destroyed.

Two other lockers received damage, as well as a small portion of the above wall.

The male youth was also charged with one count of fail to appear in court on an outstanding warrant.

He is to appear in bail court this morning.

The female is to appear in court on the 14th of October.
