ELLIOT LAKE, ON – The East Algoma OPP arrested and charged a male regarding an arson investigation reported on May 28, 2008.
Charged with utter threat to damage property is Wieslaw Lach (48) also known as Mark Lach from South River.
The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating the arson of a cottage located off Portelance Rd north of Elliot Lake.
The cottage is isolated and only accessible by ATV, 4X4 or air.
Investigators learned that sometime on May 28, 2008 the structure was noticed to be on fire and had been extinguished by a Chapleau Fire Crew.
The cottage is valued at approximately $80,000.
