Arrest made in downtown stabbing

************************* A 39-year-old female was arrested on the 19th of December at 3:38 p.m. at a downtown residence and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

It is alleged that on the 18th of December at approximately 10:30 p.m. the accused stabbed her common-law boyfriend in the abdomen area at their downtown residence.

The victim received serious non-life-threatening injuries.

The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.
