OPP NEWS RELEASE

************************* Theft of solar panel from construction site

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on August 19 and 7 a.m. on August 20, a solar panel was removed and stolen from a lighting system at the construction site on Highway 17 near Catfish creek north of Wawa.

The value of solar panel and damages to the equipment are estimated at over $1,000.

Police have no suspects at this time, and request anyone with information to this crime to call the Superior East OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
