Appointments open for weekly Indian Friendship Centre vaccination clinic

Pfizer and Moderna doses will be available to those aged 12 and up

A news release issued today by Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services states that a COVID-19 vaccine clinic will take place tomorrow at the Indian Friendship Centre located at 122 East St.

This weekly clinic runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Sault Ste. Marie Indian Friendship Centre and Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, Aug. 4. This clinic is to service youth and adults in the Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area who are Urban Indigenous (First Nation, Metis, Inuit), as well as the general population.

The clinic location is at the Indian Friendship Centre building at 122 East St. There will be Pfizer as well as Moderna vaccine available. Appointments can be made for first or second doses for anyone aged 12 years and up. The clinic runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday.
