Applications for Bridges to Better Business now open

Attention Algoma region entrepreneurs.

Applications for this year’s Bridges to Better Business Pitch Competition are now open and the City of Sault Ste. Marie wants to hear your business ideas.  

Bridges to Better Business, hosted by the Millworks - Centre for Entrepreneurship, is an annual forum that unites local professionals for a session of learning and networking. Last year’s winner, UrbanFix Technologies Inc., took home a grand prize valued at $15,000, followed by the second-place prize valued at $5,000, which went to Findlay’s Fungus. 

Anyone looking to start or grow a business is invited to apply. This competition is open to both new and existing businesses. 

The deadline to submit an application is Monday, Aug. 22 at 11:59 p.m.
