APH reports new COVID-19 case in Sault area

It's the first active case in the region since the end of June

Algoma Public Health is reporting a new COVID-19 case in the Algoma region.

The new case is in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Tested on Friday, the exposure category for the individual is unknown at this time and the person is currently self-isolating.

In a release, APH notes that all close contacts have been notified.

The region has been without an active case since the end of June.
