Algoma Public Health is reporting one new COVID-19 case in the Sault Ste. Marie area.
The new case brings the total number of cases in the Algoma region since the start of the pandemic to 365.
Case No. 365, tested on May 15, falls under the unknown exposure category, and is currently self-isolating.
Unknown exposure means the person did not have recent international travel or close contact with a known confirmed case.
There are currently 31 active cases in Algoma and one hospitalization.
