Algoma Public Health is reporting five new cases of COVID-19, all from the Sault area.
All five are currently self-isolating, according to the health unit, and four of the cases were exposed by close contact while one's exposure category is listed as unknown.
Through contact tracing, APH notifies all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by APH you are not considered a close contact.
To date, there have been 351 cases of COVID-19 in the area, 19 of which are currently active.
