APH reporting 97 new cases of COVID-19

Currently 480 active cases, two hospitalizations in the region

Algoma Public Health is reporting 97 new cases of COVID-19 in the region. 

The cases are in the following areas: 

  • 72 - Sault Ste. Marie & area
  • 14 - Central & East Algoma
  • 4 - Elliot Lake & Area
  • 7 – North Algoma

There are currently 480 active cases and two hospitalizations in Algoma as of Thursday afternoon.

The active case count is up 78 from Wednesday's report and the number of hospitalizations has decreased by one.
