Algoma Public Health (APH) is reporting four new cases of COVID-19, all from Sault Ste. Marie and area.

Three are close contacts of another positive case, and one's exposure category is listed as unknown.

All four are currently self-isolating, says APH.

This brings the total number of active cases in the region to 45.

To date, APH has confirmed 273 cases of the virus in our region.

Through contact tracing, APH notifies all close contacts directly. If you are not contacted by APH you are not considered a close contact.
