Apartment fire leads to marijuana charge

************************* Charges for local male

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - May 10, 2010, at approximately 9:45 p.m. police were called to attend an apartment on Mississauga Avenue to assist the fire department with a report of a fire.

On scene fire personnel advised police of suspicious plants located in the apartment.

Through investigation police charged Pat Woermke (41) of Elliot Lake with production of marijuana.

Woermke is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on July 6, 2010.
