Anthony and Aaron face multiple drug charges

************************ Warrant execution

On Thursday, October 13, 2011 members of the Anishinabek Police and OPP executed a drug search warrant on the residence of Anthony Belleau and Aaron Belleau at 177 Whitebirch Drive, Garden River First Nation.

Anthony Belleau, 26 years old, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana and cannabis resin (hash oil) and with firearms offences.

Aaron Belleau, 28 years old, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana and cannabis resin (hash oil), possession of schedule 1 drug, firearms offences, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Seized drugs/ property:

- 640 grams cannabis marijuana (bud)

- 131 grams cannabis marijuana (shake)

- 26 grams cannabis marijuana (resin)

- 6 oxycodone

- 3 grams psilocybin

- Drug paraphernalia

Approximate value - $14,020.

Also seized were 13 firearms - of which included four restricted, three hand guns and one rifle.

Approximate value $5,500.

Anthony and Aaron Belleau were both released on promise to appears with a court date of November 28, 2011.
