************************* Hamilton woman wins $1,714,408 playing Lotto 6/49

TORONTO, October 20 - Congratulations to Vera Greenaway of Hamilton who claimed a Lotto 6/49 jackpot of $1,714,408 from the October 7, 2009, draw.

Greenaway has claimed one of two jackpot prizes for the October 7, 2009, draw, both of which were won in Ontario.

"I was in shock! It is so surreal," Greenaway elatedly said of her jackpot win.

The 41-year-old mother of two has no immediate plans for her windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased at Queenston Grocery & Variety located on Queenston Road in Hamilton.

OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities.
