Another area fire ban cancelled

Johnson Township Fire Chief Robert McKinnon has lifted the previously issued fire ban, effective May 11, 2010. All previous burning permits are now reinstated and new ones may be obtained at the Johnson Township office.

Johnson Township Fire Chief Robert McKinnon has lifted the previously issued fire ban, effective May 11, 2010.

All previous burning permits are now reinstated and new ones may be obtained at the Johnson Township office.

The fire ban for the Municipality of Huron Shores, in effect since April 23, was lifted yesterday.

Outdoor burning in the evening is allowed with possession of a valid permit issued from the municipal office.

No daytime burning is permitted.
