Annual luncheon will mark International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, the 5th annual Women’s Success Luncheon will take place on Mach 9 at The Machine Shop.

Guest speaker for the event are Meaghan Kent, owner, Meaghan Kent Photography; Lackeisha Sogah, labourforce development coordinator, City of Sault Ste. Marie; and Anne-Marie Caicco, healing arts practitioner and teacher.

StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce their 5th annual Women’s Success Luncheon event on March 9, 2023 at The Machine Shop to celebrate International Women's Day.

Join local leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect and celebrate women in Sault Ste. Marie. The event will be MC’d by Kirstin Dias, StartUP Sault Board director and director of marketing with Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU).

This year’s event features an excellent lineup of local women speakers, sharing advice on business, resiliency, and well-being.

Featured speakers:
    •    Meaghan Kent, owner - Meaghan Kent Photography – Integrating Values into your Business
    •    Lackeisha Sogah, labourforce development coordinator - City of Sault Ste. Marie - When the season changes: Resiliency
    •    Anne-Marie Caicco, healing arts practitioner and teacher - Raising your Vibration for Health, Well-being and Success

“I am excited to host the 5th Annual Women’s Success Luncheon, providing an opportunity for local women to connect, share experiences and support one another. Last year’s event doubled in size and StartUP Sault was encouraged by the positive feedback. The luncheon has become our largest annual event and we look forward to delivering another impactful event this year,” said Kirstin Dias.

Space is limited, and tickets can be purchased online.

This event is proudly supported by YNCU, Startup Canada’s Startup Women Fund (including UPS and Scotiabank), BDC and local partners Northern Ontario Angels and N1 Solutions.

Tickets include lunch and refreshments, and a cash bar will be available.
