The BBC is reporting that singer Amy Winehouse was found dead today at her London home. The British soul pop singer/songwriter broke onto the international music charts in 2006 with her album Back to Black and its single Rehab .

The British soul pop singer/songwriter broke onto the international music charts in 2006 with her album Back to Black and its single Rehab.

Winehouse won the Brit Award for best female solo artist in 2007, and Back to Black earned her five 2008 Grammy Awards, including best new artist and best pop vocal album.

She was also presented the artist choice award at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2007.

Her talent was often overshadowed by substance abuse, mental health issues, legal problems and poor health.

The cause of her death is currently undetermined.

She was 27 years old. ///
