CITY POLICE NEWS RELEASE
************************* 31-year old Tracy Bent of 4-107 Breton Road was arrested yesterday after she [allegedly] attempted to defraud Zellers at the Station Mall.
It is alleged that yesterday the accused attended at the store and returned two items in boxes for a credit in the store.
When store employees checked the boxes they found rocks in the boxes after the accused left the sales area.
The accused was then observed hiding various pieces of electronics and other merchandise in a bag she had on her.
When she attempted to leave the store with the unpaid merchandise in the bag she was arrested by store security and turned over to City Police.
The accused has been charged with one count of fraud and one count of theft under $5,000.
She will appear in court on February 14.
