All about Tamara's new job

Tamara Shewciw has left her job as the Group Health Centre's award-winning senior manager of information technology, and started work today as chief information officer at the North East Local Health Integration Network.

In her new position, Shewciw is responsible for development and implementation of eHealth across Northeastern Ontario. At GHC, she championed information and communication technology and oversaw one of Canada’s largest primary care databases for 17 years.

Two years ago, Shewciw was named IT Executive of the Year by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.
