******************** On September 10, City Police arrested a 12-year-old and a 13-year old youth and charged each with four counts of break and enter and commiting an offence.

Both youths will appear in court on October 11th.

The break and enters occurred to the Mac’s Mart at 647 Second Line West; one on September 5th and on three separate occasions on the 10th of September.

Through the course of their investigation officers learned that a third person was involved.

As a result of this information a search warrant was prepared and executed on September 10 at the residence of 33-year-old Antonio Paim of 127 Turner Avenue.

When officers attended in the residence they found that the accused had [allegedly] attempted to destroy a large quantity of stolen cigarettes from the Mac's Mart by burning them in a wood stove.

Officers did manage to recover some of the cigarettes.

During the search of the residence officers also located three firearms, for which the accused had no licence to possess.

Mr. Paim has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, four counts of break and enter and commit an offence, and three counts of unauthorized possession of firearm.

The accused will appear in court on October 17.
