****************************** Twenty-eight-year-old Alexander Currie of 6436 172 North West Street in Edmonton, Alberta was arrested on the 14th of April at 11:30 p.m. on Walnut Street and charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance.

It is alleged that officers on patrol stopped and checked a vehicle on Walnut Street last evening around 11:30 p.m. and the driver was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

He is to appear in court on the 26th of May.
