Hardly six hours into 2011, 19-year-old Adrian Marcil was arrested by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service after his vehicle clipped a house in the Parkland Drive area, ripping out the PUC service and a very small shipload of bricks.
Marcil was charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration greater than 80 milligrams.
In unrelated news, four individuals spent time overnight at police headquarters, after being charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
