"She hooked into a large fish at around 6:30 p.m. and after about a 10-minute fight I landed it," Biggs tells SooToday.com

"I was very surprised to see that it was a lake sturgeon. I have caught many different species of fish from Rock Lake but never a sturgeon.

"After doing a little bit of research I discovered that it's rare to see them caught, especially in an inland lake. I thought some people might like to hear about this. I have provided a few pics. Thanks SooToday.com!"
