OPP NEWS RELEASE

************************* RENFREW, ON, July 31 - The Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Branch, the Windsor Police Service and Renfrew OPP can confirm that Jesse Norman Imeson was arrested on a Canadian-wide arrest warrant for the murders of Carlos Rivera of Lasalle, Ontario and Helene and William Regier of Dashwood, Ontario.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on this date OPP Emergency Respond Unit members and Sûreté du Québec arrested Imeson without incident.

At the time of his arrest Imeson was located in Portage du Fort, Quebec.

Imeson is being detained in Quebec and will be transported to Ontario.

The Windsor Police Services and the Ontario Provincial Police would like to thank the public, the media and the Sûreté du Québec for their assistance.

Detective Inspector Dave Cardwell will be making a statement at 11 p.m. at Renfrew OPP detachment.
