The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released this dramatic satellite image, taken today, of Tropical Storms Gustav and Hanna, seemingly dancing over the Caribbean and Atlantic.

After already causing 78 deaths in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica, Gustav is expected to strengthen over the weekend to a powerful Category 3 hurricane before hitting the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Some oil companies, including BP, ConocoPhillips and Anglo-Dutch Shell, have started evacuating oil-patch workers there.

U.S. gasoline prices have already started to rise.

Hanna is also expected to strengthen as she dances westward.
