A 90-year-old entrepreneur is hoping to reopen an inactive gold mine in Wawa. Peter McLean will travel north sometime during the next few months to visit the gold mine he bought several years ago, The Windsor Star reports.

A 90-year-old entrepreneur is hoping to reopen an inactive gold mine in Wawa. Peter McLean will travel north sometime during the next few months to visit the gold mine he bought several years ago, The Windsor Star reports.

McLean, who needs a walker to get around but still possesses a firm handshake, believes there's still gold in the mine.

However, McLean is often been described as an "eccentric dreamer" - a label he welcomes.

His previous projects have included alchemy, designing a toy gun for which he won an award, buying property that he couldn't find but later sold for $150,000, and designing a cigarette holder.
