90 km/h wind gusts possible today

Parts of the area are currently under a wind warning issued by Environment Canada.

Westerly winds are expected to affect the area into this afternoon with gusts of up to 90 km/h possible.

The winds are expected to ease from west to east this evening.

The affected areas include:

  • Sault Ste. Marie - St. Joseph Island
  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay
