82-year-old man attacked on Queen St

************************* Thirty-eight-year-old Kevin Pine of 1685 Shingwauk Street in Garden River was arrested on the 14th of September at 4:30 p.m. on Hynes Street and charged with one count of assault.

It is alleged that on the 14th of September just after 4 p.m., the accused approached a male, not known to him, who had just left a restaurant on Queen Street East and started to yell at him.

The accused began to kick the 82 year-old male victim in the leg area.

Police were called by a witness that provided a description of the suspect.

He was located by police on Hynes Street and arrested.

The victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
