The missing female has been located.

(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team, K9 unit, uniformed members and members of Sault Search and Rescue are searching for a woman last seen on Whitefish Island, Sault Ste. Marie at approximately 10 p.m. last evening.

Missing is 46-year-old Kathy Henderson of Sault Ste. Marie.

She is described as five feet, seven inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair (curly down the back and short on top).

She wears glasses.

When last seen, she was wearing blue jeans, a black sweater with a red blouse underneath.

She walks with a cane.

Whitefish Island is a small island accessible on foot from Sault Ste. Marie.

The assistance of a helicopter and the U.S. Coast Guard have also been sought.
