A dwarf Alberta spruce was planted at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport today as the 155 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron and The Royal Canadian Legion Band and Colour Party marked the 67th anniverary of the Battle of Britain.

Sootoday sat down with Allan Fell, president of 432 RCAF Algoma Wing Air Force Association of Canada to talk about today's event.

After speeches by Allan Fell, benediction by Reverend Phil Miller, and a few words from Mayor John Rowswell, wreaths were laid in front of the monument honouring the memory of airmen who lost their lives in battle.
