The body of a missing Sault Ste. Marie man, found dead in a tent south of Wawa around last night, will be removed this morning by helicopter.

Searchers located the missing 60-year-old hiker in the Frater Road area near the Towab Trail at the north end of Lake Superior Provincial Park.

Foul play is not suspected.

The man had been dropped near the provincial park the day before and was due at 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

He was reported missing at 5:30 p.m. and was located by searchers at 9:30 p.m.

A helicopter, canine unit and emergency response team members participated in last night's search.

Some police resources were brought to the area from Schreiber, where a search is underway for Christina Calayca, a 20-year-old from Toronto who went missing earlier this week while jogging in Rainbow Falls Provincial Park.
