60 hours to create a single Christmas light display (photos, video)

Ralph Petingalo takes Christmas decorating very, very seriously.

Ralph Petingalo takes Christmas decorating very, very seriously.

Why else would he spend 60 hours stringing more than 10,000 lights around his house - including the back yard - to celebrate the holiday season?

His Shannon Road display, which is synchronized to festive music, also utilizes 3,000 feet of extension cords.

That's a lot of wiring.

Petingalo told SooToday.com he hopes to eventually include his neighbour's homes in his yearly, ever-growing holiday light extravaganza.

We can hardly wait to see what he has up his sleeve for next year.

Petingalo's efforts are the first of three musical light displays featured in the video above.
