MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (MDOT)

************************* 5:13 p.m. update: US-2 is now open to traffic.

************************* MDOT and the Michigan State Police have closed US-2 between M-117 and St. Ignace; I-75 from St. Ignace to the M-48 overpass near Rudyard; and M-123 from M-28 to I-75 due to a winter storm in the area.

Signs advising motorists have been placed at the closure locations.

The Mackinac Bridge remains open at this time, but northbound motorists are advised to avoid crossing the bridge due to the road closures. MDOT and the Michigan State Police will provide more information as it becomes available.
