Check your Lotto 6/49 tickets, Sault residents!
The winning ticket for the Saturday, Jan. 7, Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Draw jackpot worth a massive $48 million was sold in somewhere in Sault Ste. Marie, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. says.
The winning Gold Ball number for Jan. 7 is 48780304-01.
The prize is part of the new Lotto 6/49 format that launched in September 2022.
The OLG said there are 25 new millionaires in Ontario as a result of the new format, the OLG said in a news release.
