40 pictures of stuff we saw last night on Second Line West

SooToday.com took a gentle evening stroll last night through the remnants of the now-cleared construction site on Second Line West.

We discovered that the ever-popular pylon has become a popular sidewalk decoration (see photos 9, 10, 11, 22), and that construction-zone signs sometimes stick around in a rather nostalgic sort of way long after their duties have been fulfilled. (See photo 35).

We were intrigued also by an emergence of bright yellow and blue fire hydrants, (see photos 16 & 21) as opposed to the traditional red and blue ones that sometimes pop up in rather odd places. (Photos 8 & 34).

Last night, we also saw that the gas prices at Mac's on Second Line were once again cheaper than their competitive neighbours at Second Line & Korah Road. (See gallery photos 29 and 30).

Aside from the construction zone, we found some very cool signs which may be in need of some major construction themselves, (see gallery shots 2, 5, 6, 24, 26)
